RedHat 9.0 installation issue - unable to read CD

I am trying to do a fresh install of RedHat 9.0 from three CDs I burned from ISO images. I am restoring my computer to a dual boot configuration with XP, and the XP partition is working fine (this arrangement worked perfectly well when I had RH 7.3 installed).

When I boot from the RH9 CD, the installer starts normally. After selecting the language and keyboard layout, however, the system informs me that "The Red Hat CD was not found in any of your CDROM drives."

The images have burned correctly; the three installation CDs have the correct directory structure. Others have suggested that I burn the images at slower speed, so I did, only to get the same error message. Anyone know why this could be happening, and how I can fix it?

If it helps, I can tell you that I'm trying to install on an Intel machine housing two IDE hard drives and two ATAPI optical drives, one a DVD-ROM and the other a CD-RW.
