Redhat 9.0 CD creation
I am in the process of setting up my old computer as a webserver. I have determined that I am going to try Redhat 9 as the only operating system.
My problem is that I have found instuctions on creating the CDs, but they are for Linux. I currently only have Windows (XP and 98). I have located both the .iso images for redhat 9 and the files. The question is how do I uncompress the iso images onto the CD using windows XP, or is this imposible? Thanks |
Hi,
If you have easy cd creator you should be able to double-click on the .iso files and it should be ready to burn to a cd. What cd burning programs do you have? Michael |
I had Easy CD Creator when I was running 98, but I have just been using the XP system when I updated. I will install it on my XP system if double clicking does not work.
That sounds pretty simple, I guess I should have just tried it. Thanks a lot for your help. |
