Unhappy Redhat 8 LTSP problem with floppy access

Hi, I am running redhat 8 with LTSP. I can connect from a remote machine and it boots into a gui (gnome) but it says I can't use the floppy drive. The server machine has mtools installed and floppyd running. When I try and put a file onto a floppy mtoolsFM says that "can't connect to floppyd server on localhost, port 5703 (connection refused)! cannot initialize 'A:'" something seems wrong here. Does anyone know how I might fix this to make it work? Thanks!

The way I solved the problem was this:
Modify /etc/dhcpd.conf
I added this section to this file
}
host ws253 {
hardware ethernet 00:A02:1C:82:E1;
fixed-address 192.168.0.253;
filename "/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.24-ltsp-4";
option option-128 e4:45:74:68:00:00;
# option option-129 "NIC=rtl8139"; <-------This part is commented out in order to work
}
Since the system identified the first terminal that I connected to the server as 192.168.0.253, I changed the address on fixed-address to match, also I had to add the MAC address to the hardware ethernet, then typed the command
service dhcpd restart

Restarted the terminal and voila the floppy works on the terminal.

Hope this is usefull for you
