RedHat 8 and "Could not look up internet address for dhcppcl" with router

I installed Red Hat Linux 8 on a PC. The PC is connected to a Netgear Gateway Router Model RT314, that has had its firmware and software updated and works fine under Windows XP, 98 etc. When I turn the PC on and Linux boots up, it says:

"Could not look up internet address for dhcppcl. This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly. It may be possible to correct the problem by adding dhcppcl to the file /etc/hosts "

The printer does not print (though the drivers are installed for it).

I can surf and get e-mails when I insist that it log on anyways, but the printer does not work.

Question: How do I add dhcppcl to the file /etc/hosts ? (please, instructions step-by-step)

(What is dhcppcl ?)
