redhat 8.0 doesn't like my computer


Installed red-hat 8.0 on my Compaq 1500c laptop last night
the problem is the
Application "nautilus" (process 1150) has crashed due to a fatal error segmentation fault.

please help I have never used linux until yesterday. so yes I am a newbie.

rebooted several times now if I go into any application the computer just locks up where nothing at all will work.
