RedHat 7 installation
 
Hello,

I am attempting to install RedHat Linux 7 but the computer freezes at a certain point during the cd installation. I have tried on multiple computers (with the same hd) so I don't think it's the computer. I now have a Micron Millennia computer running @ 200mhz & 64 mb ram. Everything goes smooth until the progress bars during installation stop moving and the hd light stops going (I even let it sit for about 8hrs once). Any suggestions?

I tried to install Red Hat 7.1 on a system with 64MB of RAM and It did the same thing everythime. The problem was solved when I increased the memory to 128MB RAM

md5sum check ur ISO! make sure u got the right 1 and also make sure u burn it right...dont extract...tell the program to 'Burn Image...' and it'll burn correctly.

try installing using the Text installation, and not the Gui installation.
