redhat 7.2 toshiba satellite cdt1625

i have successfully installed redhat 7.2 on my toshiba satellitecdt 1625 laptop. it works fine but hangs every now and then. i noticed that it hangs when the fan turns on. is this a common problem with redhat 7.2 on laptops or is this justmy machine. your help would be appreciated.
