RED HAT INSTALL PROBLEM: no mouse detected

Trying to install Red Hat 8.0 on my machine - it freezes at the Welcome Screen with the message - No mouse has been detected
After this I cannot proceed any further
I have a USB mouse connected to the keyboard

Are there any kernel options I can pass at the boot prompt? Any other way around this?

you could try using a ps/2 mouse for install then configuring the kernel to accept your mouse

best way to do it is your either going to have to put the mouse in the USB slot on your case and then try and configure. Or just use a USB ps2 mouse adapter I am pretty shure that most USB mouses come with on.
