RED HAT INSTALL PROBLEM: no mouse detected
Trying to install Red Hat 8.0 on my machine - it freezes at the Welcome Screen with the message - No mouse has been detected
After this I cannot proceed any further I have a USB mouse connected to the keyboard Are there any kernel options I can pass at the boot prompt? Any other way around this? |
you could try using a ps/2 mouse for install then configuring the kernel to accept your mouse
|
best way to do it is your either going to have to put the mouse in the USB slot on your case and then try and configure. Or just use a USB ps2 mouse adapter I am pretty shure that most USB mouses come with on.
