I am having some issue with my hardware :-

usb 2-5: device not accepting address 19, error -110 hub 2-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 5. Maybe the USB cable is bad? usb 2-5: new low speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 21 The USB mouse does not work after I activate my internet connection. I am using a USB Modem (Datacard). Also, RHEL 5.3 is old...still supported, but old. Latest I believe is 5.5, and there are times an updated kernel will fix the modules related to the 110 error (low-level USB communications error). If you're using a laptop, you'd be far better off with Ubuntu, openSUSE, or any other 'consumer-grade' distro. Hardware such as USB modems, sound, etc., that aren't found on servers, is much better supported. RHEL is meant for SERVERS. And again....have you contacted RHEL support?? If you're not paying for support/patches, you should NOT be using RHEL. |
