Red Hat and Updates

I just installed RH 8.1 on another of my machines, i installed a ton of stuff, mostly unneeded packages, but im testing it all out to see if my sister can handle Linux coming from Win98. But after i rebooted and went to do all the updates, i get an error. It told me to go the the red hat site and check my acocunt status (i d/l'ed this distro from them), so i did and it says my 1 system is Unentitled, does this mean i cant d/l updates to redhat because i didnt pay for the cd's?

its no big deal i think. it sounds like you have multiple machines on one redhat user id. you only get one basic entitlement for free. since this is your sister's box, set up her own user id at redhat and and the update agent should take care of the rest. if i'm wrong and you only have one system on this id, then select the hyperlink for your system id, delete it, and reregister your system.

Do you know how to reregister inside rh?

Just need to run rhn_register as root
