Red Hat 9 and FAT32?

I just installed a dual boot system with Windows XP and Red Hat 9. The thing is, i made another partition that was FAT32 so i can exchange files between Red Hat 9 and Windows XP.

I thought Red Hat 9 could red and write to FAT32 file systems?

Anyways, if it can, how do i make Red Hat 9 able to see this and read and write to it?

How do i mount it or what not.

The partition is called /dev/hdb6 that is FAT32.

thanks

Create your empty directory to mount it to..

mkdir /mnt/windows

mount -t vfat /dev/hdb6 /mnt/windows

cd /mnt/windows

And if you want this to occur automatically at boot time.. just add it to your /etc/fstab file. This is asked quite often, if you tried searching, you'll find your not the only one who's asked this and gotten solutions..
