Red hat 8.0 install


Thanks to everyone for their responses. I am almost finished with the downloads. Now I want to burn them to CDs, is there anything special i need to do before i copy them to a CD?

You can't just copy the isos to a CD - ie have one file on the CD, you will need to extract the image file using your cd writing software.

if you have Nero, its as simple as going to File->BurnImage and then selecting the archive u want to burn. you dont want to unpack the archive to burn it, just burn the archive. i had to rename mine to end in .iso so nero would recognize it.
