I'm sure opinions will vary but i find YUM to be a great tool for not only updaing software but upgrading as well. I've used these instructions
in the past and have had nothing but success. I'd personally suggest upgrading to Fedora Core 3, only because using legacy software is never a very good idea, in my opinion. Using the most up-to-date software available is a big step towards having a secure machine.
