PLEASE tell me there is a way to recover these lots partitions. When I reinstalled windows I didn't think it would wipe everything away. I did do a format on this 15GB partition, but thats still within the space of the last windows. Shouldn't affect the rest right???

Gotta love being a newbie... LOL

90% chance it is lost... Windows will always wipe it unless you tell it otherwise... did you use the win tools to tell it all of the partitions?

Try using a GUI linux install to re-instate the bootloader... something like Mandrake... it might be that Grub or Lilo have been wiped by Windows. If this fails... then you have lost it.

Richard
