Recover Files


HI friends

is there any way to recover deleted files and folders in redhat9.
because one of my user delete one folder through samba.
please advise me or any other recover tools.

Depends on the file-system, and/or the type of files.

But as a responsible SysAdmin you will obviously have
recent back-ups?

Recovering deleted files...

photorec is a package which is used to recover lost files including txt,dbase,photo etc... it supports various extensions.....

i hope this will help you .........

can you tel me this will recover *.xls file and some folders.

Can you read the documentation on their website, and research it yourself?
