Recompile Perl

Hi All

I have some source code written in Perl and to execute them i need to install Net::SSLeay perl module.
when i tried to compile it there was a warning said my Perl compiled whit CC while SSL compiled with GCC so i should recompile my Perl with GCC again.
So what should i do? my Perl(5.8.7) is a pakage, i don't have source of it and even i download and compile the source how can i tell my Slackware(10.1) this is the new perl?

Thx
