Recommendations for good Linux compatible wireless networking cards?
 

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Linux compatible wireless networking card. I will be purchasing a new laptop soon. I have had alot of grief with the Broadcom B43 wireless card, specifically when using openSuSE. A little research told me that proprietary firmware is required for Broadcom wireless cards. It was hell trying to get a wireless internet connection with my laptop (equipped with a Broadcom B43 wireless card) when running openSuSE. Thank you in advance!

there are plenty of lists of compatible wireless cards for ubuntu, maybe even for opensuse. But for most updated informating take usb with linux and try at shop before buying. Most vendors will allow quick test.
