I am using Knoppix 5.1.1 Live CD. From that i remastered and created a new ISO file with limited pakages. I have doubt in the diffrence b/w when typing "reboot" in terminal and selecting reboot option from the Knoppix menu. How the xsession is closed ? I want to write a script file such as when i click a button from my gtk application, it should restart the system. can anyone help me.
