Reboot into previous processes

How can I reboot and have my system start up and automatically start the processes that were running when I logged out? In other words, I'm reading a web page. I log out. Then when I reboot my system should start up and open the browser with the web page still visible and all I have to do is maybe log back onto the internet.

I'm using KDE and Mozilla. At some point in my learning I was starting my system and my previous processes were being restarted...I think. But I don't remember what I am doing differant now. Doesn't it have to do with the method of shut-down?
