RealPlayer !0 Gold Install Problems

I tried to install Real Player Using the instructions given on the realplayer site. Unfortunatly, they proved to be insufficient. So here is what I did and what went wrong:
Command Promt
****
[root@localhost ~]# cd /root/Downloads/RealPlayer
[root@localhost RealPlayer]# chmod a+x RealPlayer10GOLD.bin
[root@localhost RealPlayer]# ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin
./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[root@localhost RealPlayer]#
****

Please Help!!!!

Also, when explaining, act like Im stupid

OK, first of all, which distro are you using? Which version of gcc ships with it?

If you're running Ubuntu (i386) just go here:-

http://www.mrbass.org/linux/ubuntu/

Download the add-on.zip and install whatever you want using it. It includes Realplayer, codecs and other stuff and takes five minutes to run through.

I had this problem with mandriva 2005 I got the same error message. realplay just would never load up.
I looked at my mandriva CDs and found libstdc++.so.5 on the cds. I installed libstdc++.so.5 and then realplayer worked fine. I would find an rpm version of libstdc++.so.5 if you can't find it on any cds
