really need help
 
I have a gateway laptop that has a realtek wireless card. Xandros could not find the driver so downloaded the driver from the vendor, but the card can not find the driver. How do i direct the wireless card to the driver

the driver was given to me by the manufacturer of the wireless card in the laptop.

First this driver, is it a linux or windows driver. If its a windows driver you will have to install a program called ndiswrapper.

It should have come with a "read me" file or something of that nature with the installation instructions.

just also are you sure that card is working are the led at the back are green and flahsing???

The driver that I am trying to load is a linux driver from the vendor which i have received, but I do not know in what directory in Xandros to copy the file so the wireless unit can find it.
