really big fonts after xorg.conf edit. Slackware 12.2


Hey all.

After i edited my xorg.conf file to get 1280x1024 Resolution the font size in some programs is really big. i cant find a way to fix this. whats wrong ?

Was the text like this before your edited your xorg.conf?

I would say to get QtCurve or a theme changer for GTK, which is what's making it look terrible. GTK applications start with a default theme that looks like Win 95.

You can try typing in
Code:
xfsettingsd
in a terminal and see what you get.

Yes it was after i edited the xorg.conf

the command is not recognized in my shell

root@slack:~# xfsettingsd
-bash: xfsettingsd: command not found
