Read-only file problem

Well im new to this whole linux thing and uhh well i was fooling around with Gmount. Now you see i didn't realise that mounting an iso and using the desktop was a bad idea cause now i can't delete them.

Error stating file '/home/patches/Desktop/d2speech.mpq': No such file or directory

but when i run
Code:
 sudo rm -rf extras
patches@patches-desktop ~ $ sudo rm -rf extras
[sudo] password for patches:
patches@patches-desktop ~ $ sudo rm -rf directx7
patches@patches-desktop ~ $ sudo rm -rf support

it does nothing and so i thought to myself (what a wonderful world) ha kidding uhh ya ill unmount and try no good didn't work mounted it again and tried nope nothing

My desktop looks like hell please help

If unmounting (umount /home/patches/Desktop) didn't work, try a reboot. This mounted ISO file system won't be persistent across reboots.
