Re-Installing Linux

How do I uninstall Linux so I can re-install it?

I'm using RedHat 9 and I installed a wrong file and now it wont boot up.

Hi Pionex

In the install just choose to Delete all existing partitions

You then carry on from their as normal

i see you're still at it Pheonix, good for u :)

well, u really don't have to "uninstall it"

when you boot your cd when restarting the pc, go through all the steps until u get to the partitioning section, then select "remove all existing partitions" when the warning comes up, just say ok (all data will be lost forever unless you want to go to a special recovery lab where they have all sorts of really cool high tech hdd decoders)

Hello,
you can also use a program called delpart that will delete any partition on your hard drive. you can find it at www.bootdisk.com or www.fdisk.com. good luck!
