Ran "linux noprobe" now no GUI

Running a Dual P3 server with aic 7896 dual scsi setup. Was running into hda issues so i ran "linux noprobe". I now have no problems starting up but cannot start gui. After "startx" I get the error message "Fatal Server Error no screens found"

A little help please.

btw: RH 8.0, smp kernel, if I try to run the standard kernel looping issues with the scsi card.

THanks in advance.

Re-Installed with support for the scsi which was the reason for the "noprobe" in the first place. Once that was done the monitor was found and installed. In addition, for some reason during the first install the smp kernel was not installed which led to a host of problems it seems. All is well.
