raid


hi can anybody tell me how add a new hard drive to the existing raid5

Hi yaswanth4b7,

Is the existing one is hardware raid or software raid??

If it is software raid: Please check the mdadm(Manage) command usage.

If it is hardware raid(Needs a reboot, i guess): You can do it using your bios settings.
