radeon 9200 se s video out looks hazy on tv


i have a radeon 9200 se video card useing suse linux 9.2 pro and my video on my moniture is fine but when i try to use the s-video out option the cars has it looks fine when booting up you can read all the text on the tv but when kde or gnome starts loading the tv then turns fuzy and hazy i tried lowering the resolution and color but that didnt work and was wondering if there was any way i could fix it so i could use my s-video out option

maybe you may give a try at installing ati-drivers from the kernel or downloading them and not use the ones that suse has included, when I did that on gentoo it asked me if I wanted to enable tv-output

Install teh ati drivers as suggested, and also turn down the resolution + refresh rate (to 60Hz).
