r8169: eth0: and tmp/gconfd-rootlock/ior

hi,

After restart server it gives me that:

Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://www.gnome.org/projects/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: IOR file '/tmp/gconfd-root/lock/ior' not opened successfully, no gconfd located: Permission denied 2: IOR file '/tmp/gconfd-rootlock/ior' not opened successfully, no gconfd located: Permission denied)

Then I changed the tmp permission from 777 to 700

After restart the machine

i got the error

r8169: eth0: PHY reset until link up

please help me out that

/tmp should be world writeable and sticky bit.

/bin/chmod 1777 /tmp

Is /tmp out of disk space?
