quick shortcut key to start xterm - how?
Hi
I use KDE with fedora core 2 on a 2.6.7 kernel. I was wondering is there a way i can assign programs to different key combinations - so that for instance i could press ctrl+alt+t for a terminal window or something like that. Can someone help me if they know how to do this? thanks. |
KDE Control -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts
A grain of curiosity could have led you there ;) Cheers, Tink |
If you do not use KDE, you will have to use a file ~/Xresources. I do not know the format of it, so do some searching.

It's ~/.Xresources, and the format is described in
man X And he is using KDE :} Cheers, Tink |
Sorry, It been a long time since I messed around in ~/.Xresources. Usually man does not well put config files or commands, so I have to resort to the internet on the format.
