when I downloaded the redhat Iso's, i only got the first two. I didn't realize i needed the third one until now, when it says that there's one package left to install, and its on the third disc. Is there any way at this point in the install to tell it to just skip this package? Its Mutt-1.4-10, and I don't need an e-mail client... I use hotmail.

If not, is there someplace i can download just that file? I've done searches, but I get mutt-1.4-1.2, etc, not that file. Can i just download one of these versions of Mutt and put that on a disk?

now, I downloaded the .rpm of the file from the Mutt site, but it still said it was the wrong disc. What do i need to do? I'm trying to avoid downloading the whole .iso just for one image

Just don't install it.

I think that would be the easiest way if it is the only package you don't need from CD3. Unortunately RH doesn;t give you a skip option - I had the same problem with a malormed CD.
If you just reset it it won't damage your disks and you'll just need to format the partitions again.

ok, it worked... but how do i open GRUB? I set the default to Dos/windows, and nothing comes up to let me select to start linux.

Do you mean you didn't istall grub on the mbr?

yay... I'm posting this in mozilla. I feel accomplished.... yay! Yeah, I'd installed grub in the wrong space, so i re-installed, this time with Lilo. Much better... huzzah.
