Quick Booting MP3 Player Distribution

I am looking for a small distribution of linux that plays MP3 and is very fast booting i.e. does not load anything more than is required for me to access my MP3 library, select a track and play the music through my Soundblaster Live soundcard.

I currently run Music Match under Windows it works well but takes about a 60 seconds to boot and another 15-20 to start music match.

Ideally my PC would work like a CD Hi-Fi - turn it on - select a track - then press play.

Any guidance would be much apperciated.

If you have a dedicated PC...

any version should work, since you should never have to turn it off. It would be ready all the time.
