Quick boot kernels.

I just need to ask a quick question, I'm doing some initial pricing and feasibility testing on an in-car computer. I've found a couple tutorials and information guides on how to do it, and I've got the hardware pretty much priced. I was wondering if there are any small, quick loading Linux kernels that have media playback ability and wi-fi ability out there. I just need software help on this.

The GP2X boots fast and does media playback. Doesn't have built-in wifi but it might be worth a look..
