Questions from my Startup log
 
Suse 9.0 user - doing most configuring through Yast2 or Webmin. Navtive Linux Box

System is working but I keep seeing these messages during start up that I would like to clean up.

//I believe this is all one message. I mostly concerned about the Port issues - namely where should I go to open them. And in runlevel and
inetd Squid appears to be initiated and ON/enabled.

In Yast you can manually set the DMA modes for your drives. Go to YAST->Hardware->IDE DMA Mode. Check that your drive is listed and that DMA is not turned off. You can set it per your hardware specs.
