Questions about Windows Authentication with Linux

Hi,
I inherited the companies linux servers so thankfully I have some experience but not enough to get this question answered.
So, let me explain my issue. Our company is moving to a new windows domain so usernames will change for users etc. This is fine, no problems here.
We currently have a custom program for shipping that runs on CentOS. Users use a telnet program to telnet to the Linux server which first prompts them for credentials. Currently, it is set to use windows AD credentials. Now, I am not sure what I will have to change once we move over to the new domain in order for it to use the new windows credentials. I have been looking through the SAMBA conf files, winbind and others and it does have our current domain info in there. My thinking is I will have to change this info but I can't test it yet. These are the only processes I know of that might change the domain authentication.

I hope this makes sense and I hope someone can shed some light on what I need to do in order for this Linux server to get on the new domain. I have been trying to get a clone of the VM made but this can't be done right now.

Thanks in advanced.

Just to clarify one point. When our users telnet they are going to Centos and it is centos which prompts for the login. It only takes AD credentials.
Basically, the login prompt on the telnet screen is similar to the following,
"CentoOS build/version "
"some type of copyright disclaimer i believe"
Login:

I can get a specific screenshot soon.
