Two distros are two different operating systems. They must be partitioned differently. They both however can share the same swap space. I'm not sure if they both can share a common /home partition. If they can then your files and folders can be shared. Someone with more experience and wisdom would answer the '/home' part.

I recommend Debian. AMD and not sure about winex.

That's a yes. Put the distros on different partitions, let them share swap and if you have /home on a seperate partition you can share that as well.
