Question on combining servers

Currently I have 2 servers that are 5 years old running on Redhat.
Server 1 servers up static html pages and runs an ftp server. Used to do some other things, but not any more.

Server 2 servers up dynamic php & jsp pages plus is also an e-mail server with about 30 e-mail users.

Right now I am looking at replacing these servers as they are getting pretty old. I was thinking of going with 1 Server running Ubuntu.

So my question is what, if anything, would be the drawbacks of combining all of this onto 1 server?

Thanks in advance.

None, really, that I can think of, but alot of it depends on the number of web pages, etc., that the server is delivering.

For what it's worth, I'd probably use more of a 'server' distro (like OpenSuSE, CentOS, etc.), rather than Ubuntu. It's a great distro, but in my opinion, geared more towards a desktop user, rather than back-office. That said, it'll work fine, and you shouldn't have any problems with it...
