QTParted mount error
 
I am just starting out using MEPIS, and I need to resize my Windows partition to make room. I tried to resize it and I get a message something along the lines of "ntfs_mount_failed:input/output error". Help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the NTFS partition work under Windows? Perhaps the partition has gotten corrupt although I wouldn't think so.
