qt-3.1.1 - make error

Did anyone install qt-3.1.1 from trolltech?
I have plenty of difficulties to install it (I try to install it because one of the useful music programs requires it to function).
./configure goes well.
make aborts.

The last lines of the shell:

yacc -d moc.y
make[2]: yacc: Command not found
make[2]: *** [moc_yacc.cpp] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/qt/src/moc' make[1]: *** [src-moc]
Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/qt' make: *** [init] Error 2
[root@localhost qt]#

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[dmitry@localhost dmitry]$ slocate yacc
/usr/share/vim/indent/yacc.vim
/usr/share/vim/syntax/ayacc.vim
/usr/share/vim/syntax/yacc.vim
[dmitry@localhost dmitry]$

Does it mean I have the yacc installed?

No - those are just part of vim's libraries. But yacc's definitely on your disks and you won't have to download it, because it's even on my disk.

Thank you. If you'd tell me exactly the name of the package/packages I need to install, it would be very helpful.

btw, in the message of Johan The Olive you see:

"Microsoft stole IE and Win 3.1 from Apple (IE = Netscape. Win 3.1 = Mac OS)"

Is that really so? I never heard it.

Actually, I might be wrong - mine's called byacc-1.9.4 (for Berkeley yacc) - guess it would work. Or yours is just yacc, I guess. I never have much luck with the package manager - I popped in my disk and did 'find * | grep yacc'. Yours should definitely be a higher version number. *g*

They couldn't steal IE from Apple, because Netscape's not Apple. And, actually, they all stole it from Mosaic. But, yeah, IE is a johnny-come-lately, it seems.

And Apple stole the GUI from Xerox who had it around 1969 but didn't know what to do with it - and a lot of people were coming out with GUIs around the same time as Apple. MS was behind the curve there, too.

I don't see faulting MS for stealing the stuff - in the GNU world, it's everybody 'stealing' from everybody. The problem with MS is that they then go and restrict the thing they've stolen and break what they've stolen from.
