Can any one say me the steps to install Q-Mail and Send mail in my linux server.

there are installation documents around for this, you shouldn't expect people to rewrite these specifically for you. if you have a particular problem with a particular stage in the install, please ask here.

I'm having what appears to be a common problem with POP3D in QMail 1.05 on Core 2.

The POP daemon appears to working correctly from the linux machine. Executing /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d against a user home directory allows me to query the Maildir structure and list the mail items.

Telnet localhost 110 from the console will connect correctly. I can enter a user name OK, but when I enter the user password, it fails and disconnects.

Telnet from external will not connect at all.

I ran the checkpassword utility from the console, and it appears to work, according to the method in Dave Sill's book.

Where I think my problem exists is in the script settings to start TCPSERVER for the pop3d.

The example on LWQ site is very different than what is published in his book. Neither one works correctly. The example from the book fails entirely, the one from the web site fails as described above.

Anybody have a working setup for this configuration?
