qmail & qmail-run

Hello there,

While installing various packages in Ubuntu VM I keep getting this message (sometimes in different variation):

Quote:
Errors were encountered while processing:
qmail
qmail-run
What can be done about it?

What is qmail?

Thanks, - Alex

Probably you were installing packages that need qmail to install (qmail would be called a 'dependency') and you have a package that conflicts with qmail, or otherwise prevents it from installing. Qmail is a mail transfer agent. I could help you more if you pasted the whole output of the command, from the apt-get to the end.
