qla2xxx scsi errors in the logs


Hi All

please assist i'm running RHEL 5.10,Kernel 2.6.18-371.el5.And I am getting this errors for my FC SAN

Ok...so what does your SAN team tell you? Have you checked with them? Also, you don't tell us what kind of SAN you're connected to, or what (if ANY) diagnostics you've run. Have you checked the cables? SAN switch? Qbics? ANYTHING? It could be that the SAN team had to perform some maintenance, or that those issues are typical messages that are generated. Since you don't tell us your SAN configuration, where your gatekeeper devices are assigned, or if these are NEW messages or if you just NOTICED them, there's not alot we can tell you. Your best course of action would be to work with your SAN team, and contact your vendors.

Also, since you're using RHEL, have you contacted Red Hat support?? You are paying for support with your purchase of RHEL...and since using qlogic FC cards with RHEL is a supported configuration, you can call Qlogic, Red Hat, and your SAN vendor for help.
