putty question
I have two terminal emulators. One is PUTTY and the other one is Mocha TN3270.
When I connect to the Shell server running FreeBSD from the TN3270, it comes up as follows: SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.6.1p1 FreeBSD-20030924 But from PUTTY, it does not have that info like above. I used Port:22 for SSH for both clients. I want PUTTY to connect to this shell, but I want it to have the FreeBSD part show up. |
You Mocha client is just giving you a bit more information. If you hare connecting successfully to port 22 with each client, the additional debug info shouldn't worry you.

In Putty, there is no debug info. All it says is (Login).
So, if I wanted the debug info in Putty how will I do that? |
Have you considered reading putty's documentation?
And you're double-posting AGAIN.... http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...20#post1143620 Official warning. Cheers, Tink |
