pureFTPd


i was wondering if i can make separate user db for my FTP server instead using the system accounts.
its a very bad practice...

maybe i should use another FTP server??

thnx. i've generated a DB file with users.

now my problem is to activate this virtual users ssytem.
however i'll need to find where the pureFTPd starts/called from.

maybe im missing something but isnt it supposed to be called by one of the run level?? (i cant find it there)
