Puppy, trying to save session in Vista
Booted Puppy 2.17 from CD but when I shut down & wanted to save settings, saw a failure listed but it all goes by to quickly to read.
Also tried Puppy 2.16 & it said something like action not allowed. Newer computer with Vista, wonder if vista is causing the problems & how to fix. Are there some commands to freeze the screen during shut down to be able to read what is not occurring? I tried Pause/Break, Ctrl q & s, but it goes by so quickly & have not been able to stop it. Thanks. |

Puppy has ntfs-3g. But puppy won't mount a NTFS partition R/W if it wasn't shutdown cleanly. Make sure you didn't hibernate windows.
