puppy linux help grub error 22


Hello, i have a laptop that has windows on one partition, puppy linux on another and then a small third for linux swap space,
after the puppy install, you are given instructions about adding lines to the 'menu.lst' file, i dont understand this part.

and when i reboot the computer says grub error 22

can someone help me out

the goal is a dual boot between windows and puppy.

Did you install Grub to the master boot record? If you did, you should have Grub automatically detect Operating Systems and create entries in the menu.lst file. The instructions for adding an entry are if you already have Grub installed.

Grub Error 22 : No such partition
This error is returned if a partition is requested in the device part of a device- or full file name which isn't on the selected disk.

Use your Pupppy Live CD to run the command "fdisk -l" to show partition information, post here. It's a lower case letter L in "fdisk -l" not a number one.
