Puppy Linux 5.2 (Enabling PAE and etc)
 
Hello! This is my first post in this forum so excuse me if I'm wrong with something.So let's go to the point. I'm not so new in Linux, but I couldn't find info how to enable PAE in Lucid Puppy 5.2 . My laptop (ASUS K52JK) is with 4gb ram and I want to use it all. I've installed kernel with PAE on Ubuntu and that is easy, but in Puppy is a different thing. Thanks in advanced. :)

Enable PAE in your bios... compile kernel with PAE support? Thats the general howto. I'm unsure about Puppy Linux though -- anyone?

I'm using Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit with PAE (3,86gb ram usable) but for Puppy I've worries about the kernel is modified and non standart, so I can't just put a new one to boot from...
