Pssw not recognized in fresh Debian squeeze installation
 

Hello,
i just installed Debian 6.0 squeeze and made sure about root pssw settings, but when login first time such pssw is not recognized, Would anybody pls help here?
I'm kind of new user, not much experience, thanks.

When you installed Debian, you should have set up the root password (for system administration purposes), and a user name and user password (for normal daily use).

At login, you should login as user; not as root.

Try to login as user with the user password.
