Process still running even after killing

Hi,
I am using FC4.I applied for the cable internet connection recently. There was a client named crclient which shud be started with username to enable internet.I ran the crclient and its not responding.I killed crclient but if i try to run crclient again i am getting the following message.

crclient : 5607 process user already logged in.

I rebooted the system and tried to ran crclient but the same message is coming.I tried ps -aux but there was no process running with that process id.

If i try to change the name of crclient and tried to run but there was a problem.

Please help me in this regard.

Thanks
Coolguy.

looks to me like it's not complaining about it already running... instead it looks like it has some kinda issue with the user executing it... maybe you need to execute the program as another user?? i'm just spitballing here...
