I am working with 1024x780 but everything it to big, althow the leters are this resolution ... I am using KDE and when I go to "configure Desktop" this tells me that my visual is 800x600 ... but this is not it at all... how can I fix it to any other resolution? .. in the combo box I can't select any other

Are the correct VertRefresh and HorizSync values in your xorg.conf?

If you're trying to fix an xorg related problem it's generally a good idea to post your xorg.conf as this will save a lot of needless questions and posts.

EndSection

BoardName "Unknown"
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "** ATI Radeon (generic) [radeon]"
Driver "ati"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen 1"
Device "** ATI Radeon (generic) [radeon]"
Monitor "My Monitor"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Virtual 1024 768
Depth 16
Modes "1024x768" "1152x864"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Virtual 1152 864
Depth 24
Modes "1024x768" "1152x864"
EndSubSection
EndSection

By the way, I have been having some problems with the configuration of the dual monitor, I don't want a cloned image, but it works like this, even if I make 2 graphical cards, 2 monitors and 2 screens, even if I configure a diferent layout it don't work...

I have a Radeon 9200SE ... (lspci):
Quote:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] (rev 01)
01:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] (Secondary) (rev 01)

thank you
