Problems with mounting

Hi all

I'm trying to mount a FAT-32 partition and it says

device /dev/hda1 has wrong major or minor number

Thanks

Try:

fdisk -l

Then check if your partition is correct. If so, do:

ls -l /dev/hda1

Check http://www.linuxhq.com/kernel/v2.0/doc/devices.txt.html

If necessary, do

mknod -m666 /dev/hda1 b 3 1

Do a 'man mknod'. Maybe it helps. I have no other ideas.

HTH,

vfs
